All the feather touch controls are in great condition. Upon pressing play one can hear the motor humming and the tape side detection working but no tape movement is seen. This is most likely due to a belt needing to be replaced or the unit needs general servicing and lubrication of parts.The unit was tested with rechargeable battery (powers on), regular battery (works) and wall adapter (also powers the unit). I also tested it with a remote control (from another Sony I own) and it works.Cosmetically in great condition with some very minor scuffing.”
