This is not a direct replacement for John Deere part # AM135881. The rigid threaded shaft on the replacement is an inch too short and has right hand threads whereas the original has left-handed threads. Seller promptly sent me a return shipping label and refunded my purchase. Definitely would try them again. replacement looks of good quality but just wasn't going to fit.
