The scents are also not very strong, you can only smell them for around 30 mins, then they just let off a lot of steam/smoke/hot air. Most of the scented oil is stuck to the packaging which is no good.

Please read the instructions as to how Simmering Granules work - once heated up, they created a vapour (not steam/smoke), they are to last no longer than a burning tealight and the amount placed in is very small (a tsp) if you require a longer lasting smell, just top up with more granules. The oil on the packaging is due to the nature of the product, they are natural salts and the scented oils are infused into them, having no oil on the inside of the packaging would be impossible to achieve
