Battery comes pre charged so you can get going straight away. When I used it I didn’t use the switch boost because the knob varies the power. I cleaned my solar panel with 10 litres of deionised water ( don’t use anything else). At full extension the pole was heavy andwith a half full backpack of water I felt safe up ladders; I will have to keep going to the gym for upper body strength. A great product.

I have used it for me sofits and fascias and extremely pleased with the ease, with the transportable, adjustable flow of water from the tank to the brush. The straps are a bit flimsy but with a full tank i wouldn't want it on my back anyway. Perfect for my household needs. Thank you
