This is a superb log splitter. No more swinging axes. Effortless operation. Simple to operate and extremely well engineered. This makes splitting logs a therapy. This came with a stand and safety guard; the latter I have not yet assembled. The stand took a little bit of man handling and spannering to get it together. It required 13 and 16mm spanners/sockets to tighten the bolts. The stand is solid and takes the strain out of bending down to operate. A fantastic piece of kit.

Forest Master are showing off with their delivery speeds - for such a large and heavy item arriving in three parts it was from order to my door in way less than 24hrs! Have assembled this FM8 with stand which is fairly straight forward with high quality components going into pre-drilled holes perfectly. Up and running and running a few big logs - it was like a knife through butter - no more swinging the big axe for me!
