Terms and conditions of the sale
Shipping
We have various shipping options available at checkout.
The free standard economy shipping is usually 2nd class post but may be upgraded.
Due to Royal Mail restrictions, we require the customer to allow 14 working days from date of dispatch before investigating the whereabouts of any items not received.
By purchasing from us you agree that you understand the Terms and conditions and if you choose the FREE postage option that it is not a tracked option.
Tracked options are available at checkout,if you choose not to purchase this option Racefasteners accept no liability for the loss of any item.
If an item has not arrived within the 14 day period and you as the customer insist on us shipping a second replacement item and the original item is then delivered, you as the customer are responsible for its return costs.
Racefasteners have the right to open any cases deemed necessary with Ebay to recoup all costs if you as the customer refuse to return the unpaid for item.
 
Returns
As a consumer you have 30 days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and be in the original packaging.
If you decide to return an item this should be done through an Ebay return request, we do not accept returns that have not been initiated through an Ebay return request
 
Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
We will then initiate a refund to your original method of payment
Return Shipping
You as the consumer will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item.
If you return the item using a non tracked service you will be responsible for any losses incurred.
Items are only refunded on receipt by us of the original item.
If we have sent out the wrong item the return shipping costs will be refunded after the items return along with any other refund amount due.
 
 
PayPal Fees
Items wrongly purchased, returned, or cancelled will incur a 10% fee.
This will be deducted from any refund due.
 
Terms and Conditions
If a notice of cancellation is received by Racefasteners and the Goods have already been dispatched by Racefasteners then the Consumer Buyer shall become liable to return the Goods to Racefasteners forthwith, to such address as directed by Racefasteners in their original packaging (and without having been installed or used and with all relevant seals and enclosures intact, save that the Consumer Buyer is entitled to handle the Goods to establish their nature, characteristics or functioning). 
Where goods purchased by the buyer are alleged to be defective, Racefasteners agrees to accept a return of such goods for inspection and report (without Racefasteners replacing the said goods prior to such inspection). The purchaser also accepts that it is reasonable to inform the seller of any interruption, defect or other failure prior to contacting independent third parties or incurring expense and, in addition, to allow the seller to remedy the defect, failure or interruption. Parts modified or adapted by the purchaser shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall the Company be liable for any failures resulting subsequent to modification as a result of such modification.
Competition goods are supplied for specialist use and are subject to extreme heat and stress whilst in use. Life expectancy and durability are greatly reduced and purchasers should note that any claim for failure/wear, shall not be entertained by the Company. It is acknowledged by the buyer of such goods that the foregoing statement shall be a relevant and important issue in any claim brought against the Company and the Company shall, in turn, place importance upon this clause. In addition, parts connected to parts supplied by this company may be placed under stress where specialist/competition parts are used, and purchasers should take advice from experts prior to purchase. Manufacturers may also limit guarantees when components are installed for competition use.
Where goods are defective, incorrectly supplied, delayed or otherwise in breach of the implied terms of the buyers statutory rights, all losses which result from loss of competition points, awards, loss of entry fees or other similar losses, are excluded and shall not be reclaimable from the Company. In addition, the company shall accept no liability for death or personal injury unless caused directly by the Companies own negligence.
