Item condition was stated as "Brand New. A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages." Book arrived with a strip cut out of the front cover and smells potently of cigarette smoke. Was shipped in a cheap plastic bag that offered no protection during shipping and the edges got dinged up. I wanted to give it as a gift, but its condition is too poor to be a present. Disappointed

The book had no spine creases, no dog earred pages, no writing in it, the pages were crisp, binding was tight and it appeared to be unread. This could be shelf wear from being stored. I purchase a lot of items from estate if a smoke smell was present I was unaware of it as I have little to any sense of smell due to an injury. If you were so unhappy, you always had the option of returning the item for a full refund.
