Was missing a gasket that was needed for the float bowl drain plug and the small oring broke apart when trying to install due to being the wrong or cheap oring to begin with, bummer I have to purchase a kit from some place else to finish the rebuild.

Blade burned wood out of the box but after sharpening, performed well until old belt broke under load. All expected. New belts are available and blade never being sharpened means this will last my lifetime and save my poor old elbow from hours of rough hand plane use. Best part, made out of U.S. steel and aluminum not horrific Chinese plastic !!!
