Auction stated original painting…. Painting received was a giclee (image printed on canvas) and had been painted over with pastels and acrylic paint… seller argued the point but this was confirmed by local artists I showed the item to… and although seller offered a refund, he was spiteful and insisted it wasn’t what others confirmed it was… I kept the item irregardless as I liked the piece enough to not hassle with repackaging and sending it back…

As you can see from other feedback this claim is NOT typical and completely out of line. It IS AN ORGINAL WORK OF ART and NOT a giclee as accused. Sellers accusations and comments were insulting; even upon graciously offering a refund. I would be more than happy to review written documentation from any "local artist" willing to guarantee it is a giclee print and then have my attorney explain to them the ramifications of making such false claims.
