I'm using the Mild setting so the tail of my reverb and delay doesn't get cut off and I can still have the threshold set high enough to quiet the angry pixies when I'm not playing. This noise gate is transparent... doesn't change my tone or the sound and doesn't change dynamic response either. I have it in series between my other pedals and the amp. I highly recommend this pedal.
