My old one blew off the roof of my car going 70 mph. The only negative about these antennas is the weak magnet, but that's a manufacturing thing. I'll attach a stronger one this time. As for performance, I'm sure it's not the best antenna, but I can hit the local repeaters quite a way out, so I' pleased with it. I like the low profile size too, and the connector that fits my cheap Baofeng. Great seller!
