Hello, I am sorry, it is an antique or vintage lamp, probably a little oil, wax, or light buffing will help. the chimney doesn't fit or the globe? The globe just fits on the chimney. the chimney may need a little patience to fit onto it. i did nothing to the picture just was how it was for years and then I packed it up carefully and sent to you. I hope you can make it work so you can enjoy it!
