da Wikipedia: "Nel novembre del 1970 il disco era stato registrato ed era pronto per la pubblicazione (la prima stampa dell'album reca infatti come data proprio il 1970). Tuttavia essendo un album piuttosto sperimentale la casa discografica Ricordi decise di metterlo da parte. Questa operazione commerciale fece irritare non poco Battisti. Dopo essere rimasto "congelato" per ben otto mesi negli archivi della Ricordi, finalmente nel luglio del 1971 l'album venne pubblicato"
