Hi I am bedridden, they did not it to my door leaving a box so damage they try to tape it togerther 20yards from my house and all the parts had to be out of box an Carrier peice at a time.I had to pay my care giver to go an bring in to my house which was heavy going 20yards. I am asking that need to put a better and clearer picture on how to put it togerther .Thanks alot

You need the patience of a saint to put these horrible things together, not to mention the time. Steps 1,2,3 and 4 were easy, it was done in seconds but step 5 was a nightmare. The tabs don't click in. Front ,side or back! Also there were black hairs stuck to the boxes . My hair is red . I can even bothered to send these back. Absolute waste of money The fact that I have to do this 20 times is giving me anxiety.

A very good purchase. At literally 1/10th of the price of other leather splitters, I took a chance. Happy with the result. Split leather straight out of the box, although I think the blade would benefit from some finessing. Assembly was easy (just pop the wooden handle on the arm). It took me a couple of minutes to realise I had to loosen off the depth stop screw because it was fully set for transport, but after that, my test splitting went smoothly.
