There were dirt marks on the checkerboard tops which were not obvious from the photos, Also the inner heel area in both shoes were dirty, the right one with a very suspicious brown stain. Again this couldn't seen from the photos because of the stretcher in the shoes. I have tried to clean these shoes with some small success with the checkerboard area. The inner heels area remain soiled with the brown stain. So the description of Good Condition was a leap of faith.
