Eleven year old Zac (Cera) spends all of his spare time designing experimental flying machines alongside his best friend Laura. Though Zac and Laura grow up and drift apart, their passion for flying remains. Years later, both Zac and Laura have become pilots. Laura owns an aerial mechanics shop in Arizona, and Zac is paying his old friend a visit when a stranger throws down the gauntlet.
