This is a time consuming process. No harsh methods were used on this skillet. While there may be some unevenness in how the seasoning took, it has a very nice cooking surface with very minor utensil marks and pitting--see high resolution pictures. It sits DEAD FLAT when tested on a flat granite surface.”
