Is more visible in some respects but red output of white LEDs is poor. May not work well in fog. Ok for a bike light, definitely unsuitable for aircraft or maritime, or countryside use. Happy with mine and bright enough to be hazardous and put a spot in your eyes. You'll be seen. Flashing they cast shadows so you're visible round a corner. Would prefer actual red LEDs and would be more power efficient.
