    I bought 2 sets (10 plants). What I got was not what I was expecting from the listing photo. One plant was a good size and healthy, 2 others looked dead and the other 7 were tiny (rhizome 1 inch or less on the largest dimension). Photos show it best. Returned for refund.

    The rhizomes grow quickly. Size doesn't matter. No bulb was dead, they were taken at a diffferent life cycle. Those without shoots had thrown off a split. Good luck! They should all throw out flowers next spring!
