Purchased a 14.62 ct blue green bi-color star sapphire cabochon and was sent a 0.84 ct reddish pink teardrop shaped stone. I could understand a mix-up if they sent a similarly sized but different kind of sapphire. The size difference between 14.62 ct and 0.84 ct is impossible to confuse.
