Paget produced more than 350 Sherlock Holmes illustrations, and it was his depictions which gave Holmes visual reality for everyone, which projected him throughout the world, and which today still provide the mold of the original hero in production on stage, screen and television.

    Excellent experience, these are probably the best large bookseller warehouse on eBay , their customer service is personal and responsive and they endeavour to make sure the buyers experience is a good one . Despatched promptly, and this time it was a paperback so it was ok in a polythene envelope. If you are purchasing a heavy hardback , I suggest contacting them in advance, and hopefully they will have implemented robust cardboard packaging to ensure it doesn't get damaged in the post.

Royal mail messaged me on three different days to say the goods out for delivery but never turned up. Post persons apparently pick and choose when and what they want to deliver in a rural area.
