It’s not on a reel, has been wound on to something then that something has been removed, so just in a bunch really, What a tangle it has become ! It’s obviously been taking off a main reel, but instead of winding it onto a piece of cardboard even , it’s in a loose ball. It’s absolutely impossible to work with, you can only cut a bit off then use it as can only untangle a little at a time. Useless for knitting as I found out the hard way. ��
