An attractive and very well-cared for 600th anniversary bronze medal of Giovanni Boccaccio, for an excellent price and with very good shipping costs. This was an irresistible purchase, especially since the Boccaccio likeness follows the very credible model provided by Andrea del Castagno (1440s), rather than the Petrarch look-alikes that replaced it in the 1500s.
