Seller notes: “This is a stunning quality antique English Victorian oak dining table, with ebonised decoration, in ... “This is a stunning quality antique English Victorian oak dining table, with ebonised decoration, in the Pugin gothic style, circa 1850, extending to 15ft, which seats up to 18 people, in excellent condition. The winding mechanism and runners are of excellent original working condition, and have been constructed to a very high standard, including brass stopping plates. The table retains its original winding handle. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. The legs retain their gothic Pugin decorative work, all of which is in excellent condition. The Victorian dining table includes its two original leaves, with three later leaves. The table retains its original legs and brass castors. The table is extremely well-constructed, solid in join and ready to use.”
