I took a video but somehow it got erased - when I plug it in and press the play or FF the heads move as they should and the corresponding reel motor starts turning - so this seems healthy. I notice online you can purchase replacement belts for this but I don't see the need for that - I don't hear any dry or crusty sounds from the motors as the reel mounts turn. The switchgear is good and the on/off, volume, and stereo/mono dials turn freely. The unit itself is very heavy :) and it has a metal cover that snaps onto the front of the unit. This does not have an internal speaker as you know, but was meant to use external units. See the photo of the information I found. 46 lbs when padded and packaged ! I will ship this carefully, likely double boxed, I'm good at shipping heavy items. I give you a lot of photos to see condition, I don't find any cracks or breaks in the case, and the heads have some dust around them but fairly clean.”

Dear Sir: This does support a 3.5" floppy drive, but as you discovered it needs a yamaha variety - The information in my listing was accurate and fair - it would have been ideal to do more research prior to purchasing this.
