I think the item description could have been better. Only one of the four pieces is close to 3" by 3" and one is only 2 5/8" wide. Two pieces include the pith, the first time I have been sent this useless part of the tree. Nevertheless, there is a lot of useful wood here if I cut carefully and I am not really unhappy, so three stars.

This item is as described and the photographs in the description are close to what I received. I can see that there is some kind of curl under the rough sawn surface. The dimensions are a tiny bit short, but within expectations. I'm a very happy customer.
