I'm sorry you are having some difficulty with the date dial, as it was working when I checked it all out before shipping. I'm sure it might do well with maybe a minimal service from your local watch service company. I know it has a relatively new battery in it, as it was changed in the first week of May this year, but it hasn't been serviced for years I believe.

Thanks for your kind words in a situation all sellers hold their breath won't ever happen! The efforts of the USPS to handle our packages like they are special gifts to others is something of the past I'm afraid these days! I'm still trying to hold them accountable for their horrible handling of their Priority Box packed perfectly. I will keep you posted if I make progress.
