BUT, fair warning, these cards are indeed cheap, and also over a decade old. As ConnectX-3 pro released in 2013. So, to make it work today on windows 11, these are the steps i had to make:
1: Put gpu in second X16 slot, and network card in top slot to use cpu lanes
2: turn off hyperthreading/SMT on 5900x/e-cores on later intel cpu's.
On unraid, connectX-3 had native support. So you'd want a newer connectX-6/7 for windows side for newest windows compatibility.
