It would have been helpful to describe how the strike shields are inserted. The shirt has velcro type enclosures near the tail front and back for the shields. The strike side is clearly labeled. The surface is concave on the strike side as received but flexes to curve the opposite direction. At first I thought the covering on the shields was just a shipping wrapper and was tempted to remove it. There is a zipper on one side of the shirt that makes it easier to put on and keep skin tight.
