Here’s what turned things around - I reset it according to my phone (that is …. , according to the satellite) several times a day for a few days. Second by second it took the hint and so far, so good with a new battery & lots of praise (wait - wrong project that’s for pets!) if there’s a setback you’ll be the first to know. Meanwhile, I’ve replaced the watch that had sentimental value for me & that emotion has transferred. Thanks B
