Seller notes: “This is a fine quality antique English Georgian pair of console tables, constructed from solid ... “This is a fine quality antique English Georgian pair of console tables, constructed from solid mahogany, featuring boxwood banding, circa 1800, in excellent condition. The console tables have been adapted from a dining table. This pair of mahogany console tables have been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of them. There are no splits to the tops (as the tops are impressively constructed from a single pieces of timber). This pair of Georgian pair of console tables are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.”
