      Had to pick up my parcel today from a UPS drop off centre. Never knew there was one in Ware. UPS say they tried to deliver to my house a couple of days ago. I was home all this week, so they lied.Have since heard bad reports regarding UPS and non deliveries.

      Unfortunately, we don't own UPS, neither does Ebay. Nor does Ebay reveal buyer's email address for notifications from couriers. Hence tracking number is the best source of updates on current status of your packages. Waiting for door bell to ring is being lazy and passive. UPS does not deliver to every door in every country - due to narrow streets, limitations or availability of access points in each area.
