I don't want to go so crazy to as to make this sound fake, but I'm pretty sure an egg would have traveled safely the way this was packed. Taped bag, foam sheets, the big pillow-type bubble wrap. And, by the way, the trackball was in almost new condition. (A little lint, but if you love this model like I do you know that's a trivial fix.)
