Couldn't be more pleased with condition of these loafers. Bsss shoes seem to run a 1/2 to 1 size larger. Luckily, these size 8 fit my normal size 8 1/2 perfectly - lengthwise. I am a medium width and discovered these were a wide width. Had some "up and down" in the heel area that concerned me. Bought that an inner sole for wearing the shoes barefoot or with a thin trouser sock and this worked perfectly. When I decide to wear a heavier sock, I'll just remove the inner sole. Very Happy!
