X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse is a side-scrolling action game that is based on Marvel's popular franchise. The game is populated with characters from the X-Men comics and early animated series, including Cyclops, Wolverine, and Beast. A team of mutants is sent by Charles Xavier to liberate mutants being held captive at a Genosha island complex.
