The usual combination of a good value item, which probably was in the condition it was described when it left World of Book's depot, but then it is sent in nothing more than a plastic bag, so corners dents and knocks occur as it goes through the mail sorting process and the postie's bag, so on arrival was in a bit of a battered and brusied state.
Why can't WoB send items in the cardboard boxes that Amazon use and prevent this damage that so regularly occurs with purchases from them?
