This wonderful Antique Brooch, which weighs 6.0 grams, has been beautifully crafted in finest 15ct Gold as two Openwork 'Entwined Lover's Hearts' below a 'Ribbon & Bow' Surmount - all set with fine Seed Pearls to create a Brooch that is just sublime.Typical of the Period this fine quality Brooch, which measures approx' 4.2cms long by approx' 2.1cms high is unmarked, but it has been tested and is guaranteed to be made from solid 15ct Gold. Overall the Brooch is in superb condition with only wear, as shown, commensurate with age - it is evident that the 'C' clasp has been replaced at some time historically but it works perfectly with the hinge & pin.In summary, this is a stunning Victorian 15ct Gold 'Entwined Hearts' Brooch dating to c1895 - it is quite simply sublime.”
