A very unusual set. Unique hand made I guess fro. Oak or Ash so would also guess in UK. I would say aboutc1960 or 1970s from boardgames style of pawns. Pieces vary in size a bit especially the queen's but the grain is stunning on the white pieces and still shows a little on the dark ones. Lovely box of the same wood. Great value here!
