Item was brand new & shipped reasonably quickly, though it took a bit of time to get here. The tracking number / tracking was also a bit wonky, but that's not the seller's fault. However, the packaging for such a high precision item was completely inadequate (see photo of crushed box of actual item). It's kind of amazing it survived, only protected by super thin single layer of bubble wrap. This should have been double boxed with extra padding at the very least.
