This was a pricey but real, authentic and fine (extra-fine nib) real Montblanc fountain pen and not a knock-off or counterfeit version. The Castle is engraved on the cap, etched white into the resin which makes it look like scrimshaw in a way, but laser-carved in machine like precision. The Nib is what’s finest. I should include pictures but I’ll just say the Castle Montblanc pen is my finest to date. A worthwhile investment if you do not ink and for a small extra-fine fountain, the best!
