This is a rooted device. Several attempts to work with the seller but the seller has been non-responsive. The device does work but it fail to allow installation of apps that requires the player not being rooted. Seller informed me that I should be able to factory reset, which I did. But, it is still a rooted device and factory reset did not remove the device from being rooted. For the cost of this device, I would expect a better responsiveness from the seller.
