The sector gear arrived sooner than expected. Finally had some nice weather to dismantle the table saw top (4 bolts, and the two Tilt wheel mounting screws). The two old spring pins were easy to tap out with a drift-pin, even after being in place for 30 years. The new sector gear slid right into place. Tapped in the two original pins. Reset the trunion spacing (while it was easily accessible), squared it up to the table slots. Slid the whole saw top back in place into the base case. Works.
