This is a sleek x-ray spectrometer that collects data on the order of 1-20keV, a range that we could not measure in our lab. The Co-57 peaks formed with a narrow FWMH. The seller was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly with my questions. I have just started to use the unit for our XRF lab so there is more to learn. I told my students (I work in a public residential high school) and they are excited to come back in the fall and get going on the next phase in their research.
