This 24" camera slider is in 'almost-new' condition. It is VERY well made and sturdy. The sliding action is SMOOTH and almost effortless, and comes with a 'drag LOCK'. I have read that you can easily attach a motor to the slider as well, so that it slides on its own. I have set it up on my old Bogen (now Manfrotto) tripod w/my Manfrotto 501 'head' and I am using it tonight for the first time. I think stabilizing it with a pole on one side or the other affords a much more solid 'platform'.
