Redken Shades EQ Conditioning Hair Color Cream is a demi-permanent color so it fades fairly evenly though faster from gray hairs. Since demi/semi colors coat the hair shaft rather than penetrating it, it changes the feel of the hair. Used with Redken Color Extend Conditioner immediately after coloring, the hair feels good and behaves normally in comparison to some I've tried.
Everyone's hair is different, but this usually lasts a minimum of 4 weeks. At 6 to 8 weeks roots show.
