Bounding around with flared nostrils he embodies all that is Holmes in another cracking production. Basil Rathbone (1939) & Peter Cushing (1959) are hard to beat, but others in the part, Ian Richardson (1983), Matt Frewer (2000) & Roxburgh all contribute differently in playing a complex character with much energy. Another must for the collection.
