The actual buying experience was easy in the usual eBay tradition. The seller even sent an email to update shipping and say thank you, a nice courtesy. Unfortunately he did not realize that part of the product was seriously damaged. As it turned out the undamaged portion was the part that I really needed, and one that I wasn't expecting, so things worked out in the end.
