Speed Busters: American Highways from Ubi Soft is a driving game that's designed to be easy to grasp and fun to play. You choose your vehicle from a selection of cars. You can modify your car by buying a new engine or installing accessories such as spoilers. Then its time to race over six different tracks (plus a "hidden" seventh level), all with variable weather conditions.<br><br>There are four modes of play in this game: Arcade (for instant single-player action), Championship (to race on all six tracks), Multiplayer (to compete over a network), and On-Line (to play over the Internet).<br><br>Each race has cash prizes, the values of which depend on where you finish at the checkered flag. The player can use the cash amassed to improve the car, buy a new one, or just repair damage caused in the previous races. But beware while driving. You may come across the odd dinosaur crossing the road, or the occasional water-propelled manhole cover whooshing upwards towards you.
