The 1965 hardcover LOTR books in slipcase are just magnificent! Described as "New." These were so new they appeared unread! A 1965 series unread?! Insane! The maps in back are sharp and seemingly never opened! They're gorgeous. The description and pics were incredible, but still paled beside the actual product. It arrived quickly. The books in slipcase were bubble wrapped and placed in a sturdy box. This was Fort Knox in a box! My preciousess made it safely into my grubby little handses! Thanks!
