Thank you item arrived Wed 12 th June... I'm very happy with the jug and look forward to putting it under UV light...the gilding is in better condition than it looks in the photos. I thought uranium just glowed in the dark anyway... like the old clocks , but seems that's something different....anyway , could be the first of collection.😊

I'm happy that it arrived safely and I hope you enjoy it. Uranium glass glows under UV light. You can buy a simple handheld UV torch online, which comes in handy for spotting op shop bargains. Some collectors fit their display cabinets with UV lighting so all their pieces light up simultaneously. I'll be selling a few other Uranium glass pieces, so keep an out out. Thanks again.
